Stock2Shop.com is a cloud-based ecommerce software technology firm that empowers wholesalers, distributors and retailers to manage their products online. Our B2B and B2C solutions integrate with various accounting/ERP packages such as SAP, SYSPRO and Sage, connecting seamlessly with ecommerce platforms like WooCommerce, Shopify and Magento, as well as marketplaces such as Takealot and Amazon. Additionally, we offer our own B2B trade store, enabling clients to synchronise inventory and orders effectively.

The role

We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the management of high-value and enterprise clients for a SaaS business. This will include managing custom software development projects, as well as the onboarding and ongoing support of SaaS clients. In this role, you will ensure that client requirements are clearly documented, systems are integrated smoothly and project goals are achieved. Following the onboarding process, you will maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for support issues and ensure long-term success and satisfaction with our platform. Experience in managing multiple high-profile clients and working with large organisations is essential for thriving in this role.

Key responsibilities

Project manage, documentation and reporting:
  • Use project management tools and software to manage the end-to-end process for projects, onboarding and support.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, schedules and requirements.
  • Maintain and update project management tools with current project status, task assignments and progress updates so that the status of each client’s onboarding and support is accurately reflected.
  • Document meeting notes, decisions and action items during project meetings.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders regarding project progress, client success metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Present regular progress reports and performance reviews to clients, highlighting successes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and accessible to stakeholders.
Client onboarding an integrartion:
  • Manage the complete onboarding process for large and enterprise clients, from initial requirements gathering to system integration.
  • Document client requirements thoroughly to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed onboarding project plan, with defined milestones and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee seamless integration and timely service delivery.
  • Conduct client training sessions to equip them with the necessary skills to effectively utilise the S2S platform.
Ongoing client support and relationship management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients post-onboarding, providing ongoing support and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Foster strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and continuous use of the platform.
  • Engage proactively with clients to understand their evolving needs and identify opportunities for additional services or features.
  • Keep clients informed about new updates and features to maximise their usage of the platform.
Cross-functional collaboration:
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, including technical support, software development and sales, to facilitate effective communication and resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance client experiences and streamline processes.
  • Provide insights into client needs to technical teams to drive product enhancements and service improvements.
  • Monitor project progress and report updates to senior management.

Your skills and experience

  • A minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in project management, particularly in software, SaaS or ecommerce sectors.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in large scale and/or complex projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with project management software and management tools, including software such as Gihub, JIRA, Asana, Monday or Microsoft Project.

Additional qualifications:

  • Knowledge of cloud-based software and SaaS platforms.
  • Experience with ERP and ecommerce platforms/technologies.
